Your solar project is on the way

Estimated project launch: Summer 2020

Here’s what’s happening

Building a new community solar project involves lots of moving pieces and can take several months. We’ll keep you updated on your project’s progress along the way.

Enrollment

Residents sign up for Arcadia to reserve spots on the upcoming project. None of this would be possible without the support of members like you.

Preparation

Once enough members have signed on, the project site is prepped for construction. This includes everything from making sure that livestock can’t break in to leveling any uneven ground.

Construction

Next, contractors place the racking system and install the solar panels and wiring.

Inspection

Before the project can go live, the local utility inspects the project and gives it the OK to launch.

Production

The project launches, clean energy flows into the local grid for 25+ years, and solar credits are applied to your energy bills!
