Delmarva, Pepco, and BGE customers in Maryland can now automatically save money and support local solar projects without installing anything on your own property. Available to renters and homeowners.
No roof required. We match the energy you use with clean energy and connect you to a live, local, solar project through your power bill.
Get guaranteed monthly savings from your share of a local solar project and save even more when we find you lower rates.
Pay your power bill with that points credit card and if you’re unhappy, cancel your account for free. We’re pretty confident you’ll be happy though.
Take one minute to enter your zip code and provide a bit of information to see if our community solar program is available in your area.
Enter your Delmarva, Pepco, or BGE account login credentials and payment information to connect your utility to Arcadia and start paying your power bill through us. Delmarva, Pepco, or BGE will continue to deliver energy to your home but will send your bill straight to us instead.
Once you’re signed up we reserve a spot for you in a local community solar project. When the project goes live, it sends energy to Delmarva, Pepco, or BGE in exchange for savings credits. We apply a portion of the savings to your utility bill and send you a statement with one, lower, charge.
The Kingsville project is situated near the Big Gunpowder River, south-east of Kingsville in Baltimore County. This near 3-megawatt project will produce around 4,362,713.60 kilowatt-hours of solar energy in its first year, which is the equivalent of avoiding the production of over 6 million pounds of carbon dioxide.
We partner with solar developers to build, and connect you to, community solar projects in your area. Your utility buys the energy the projects generate, and our technology applies savings to your monthly utility bill. It’s at no extra cost to you because we benefit when we connect you to a project.
