Arcadia Names Nicholas Mack SVP, General Counsel
WASHINGTON, D.C. — September 14, 2026 — Arcadia, the energy intelligence platform for businesses, is thrilled to announce Nicholas Mack as SVP, General Counsel. Mack will lead Arcadia's global legal, regulatory, and governance functions.
Mack joins Arcadia from NineDot Energy, developer and operator of battery energy storage systems, where he served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. There, he built and led a legal team that supported more than 100 battery storage projects across New York City and negotiated and managed more than $1 billion in corporate credit, construction loan, tax equity, and preferred equity facilities.
Mack was previously General Counsel of eero LLC, where he led all legal and diligence work on eero's acquisition by Amazon in 2019. He built and led the company's legal team through 600% revenue growth and expansion into 22 new countries. He has also served as General Counsel at Spruce Finance (formerly Clean Power Finance), Sungevity, and Mainstream Energy Corp. (REC Solar and AEE Solar), and held senior legal roles at Yodlee (a pioneering Fintech data company) and Sun Microsystems.
The appointment comes as Arcadia scales rapidly following its April 2026 acquisition of ENGIE Impact, creating the largest enterprise energy management platform in the market. Arcadia now serves over 1,500 enterprise customers globally, including 25% of the Fortune 500, with 4.5 million meters under management and more than $30 billion in annual utility payments processed.
"I'm incredibly excited to add Nick to the leadership team as we scale into the largest energy management platform in the world," said Kiran Bhatraju, Founder and CEO of Arcadia. "Nick has led legal teams through hypergrowth, major acquisitions, and years of complex energy financing. His combination of commercial instinct, Fintech, and deep energy-sector experience is exactly what the next stage of Arcadia calls for."
"Arcadia is solving one of the hardest problems in energy — bringing together data, procurement, and sustainability into one platform, at a scale nobody else operates at," said Mack. "I've spent my career building legal functions that move as fast as the business around them, in solar, storage, and fintech. I'm looking forward to doing that here."
Mack holds a J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings), where he was a Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation Scholar, and a B.A. cum laude in American Government from Georgetown University.
