One energy platform for businesses to save time, money, and carbon

Energy buyers are facing a gauntlet of rising prices and volatility. AI and electrification load growth is accelerating, driving up prices, electricity spend, and complexity.

At the same time, AI is making it possible to manage energy with precision that was unimaginable just a few years ago. Every electron can be optimized with the right data, agents, and services — ultimately making energy a strategic advantage, not just a cost center.

The companies that will thrive and grow are those that can see their energy data clearly and act on it intelligently. And the gap between the urgency of the moment and the AI tools available to address it is exactly the problem we've been working to solve. Today, we're taking our biggest step yet.

Arcadia has acquired ENGIE Impact, the utility bill management, energy procurement, and sustainability advising division of ENGIE. Together, we're creating the ultimate energy intelligence platform.

Two best-in-class businesses. One platform.

I started Arcadia because I believed the energy system was fundamentally broken for nearly everyone who participates in it. Businesses have almost no visibility into what they spend, what it costs, how to optimize, or what they can do to make it clean.

It was clear to me that energy consumption and pricing data would be crucial for the energy transition, but the data was trapped inside thousands of disconnected utility systems with no standard format and no single access point.

Arcadia has spent a decade unlocking utility data, first for community solar and then for the broader ecosystem, and in turn we created a new type of energy infrastructure. Our platform extracts and normalizes telemetry from 10,000 utility providers globally, with AI-powered tools that turn fragmented utility data into a single source of truth.

ENGIE Impact brings the operational depth to match. For three decades, they’ve been the partner Fortune 500 companies trust with their most complex energy challenges, helping companies buy power and pay bills at a scale that processes more than $30B in energy payments annually.

Separately, we've each solved part of the problem. Together, we're solving all of it using agents and AI tools — one platform to manage the entire lifecycle of energy management, data, payments, procurement, and reporting.

What this means for our customers

To ENGIE Impact customers: the service you rely on isn't changing. The experts you work with, the rigor of the operations you've built your energy program around, the relationships you've developed over years — all of that carries forward. The combined Arcadia team remains focused on you, and your service will continue without interruption.

What will change, over time, is what becomes possible with AI and our data platform. Arcadia will give customers access to agents, automation, and analytics they haven't had before — tools that eliminate manual workflows, close data gaps, and surface savings and risk across entire portfolios – along with the managed services, industry expertise, and partner ecosystem needed to take action.

And for customers of Arcadia’s utility data and tariff products, the same is true. We will continue serving the ecosystem to advance the energy transition, now with even more tools to provide outcomes and services on top of the raw data.

Our ultimate goal is to help everyone save time, money, and carbon.

Building the energy system of record for the enterprise

What we're creating together is something genuinely new in the market: the leading energy intelligence platform for businesses, processing $30B in annual utility payments and millions of utility bills annually — operating at a scale comparable to a top-five US utility.

One place for every energy decision, dollar, and dataset that matters. Come partner with us and turn energy into a strategic advantage for your business.
