Takeaways from RE+ 2023

on September 21, 2023

We just spent the week at #REPlus23, and we’re feeling energized! Now we’re taking a look back at four meaningful days of conversations, panels, and connecting with the clean energy community. Here are our top takeaways from the conference.

  • Community solar momentum continues to build: We spoke with countless industry leaders and developer partners about the rapid growth in the space. We dug into how our policy team is shaping the future of clean energy, and how we stay up-to-date in an ever-evolving market. And we raised a glass to celebrate Arcadia’s 1.8 GW of community solar capacity across 600+ solar projects.
  • Panelists discussed the clean energy future: One highlight was hearing our own VP & GM of Energy Services Joel Gamoran explain the impact of community solar on the clean energy landscape — and what’s needed for that impact to scale. As Joel shared: “There’s no shortage of customer demand for community solar,” he said. “What the market needs is more projects!”
  • Energy data is a game-changer for businesses: At the Arcadia happy hour, we also shared how our energy data platform is unlocking access to comprehensive utility and tariff data. We answered tactical questions about how these datasets help businesses approach the new energy economy — with a wide range of solutions for solar and storage providers, EV and charging companies, ESG and carbon management needs, and more.
  • Our latest product update is big for solar & storage companies: At the event, we also unveiled an exciting update to our Switch product. Switch now features integrated battery storage modeling — increasing the speed and easing the complexity of calculations for solar and storage installers, to ultimately provide the best possible cost modeling experience for homeowners.

We’re looking forward to another year of connecting the clean energy future and tracking the biggest trends in the space. See you at RE+ 2024!
